Digital Marketing and Social Media Manager

Job Summary

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage marketing budget in coordination with the Director of Sales & Marketing and create a clear strategy to allocate resources to maximize ROI.
  • Performs research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences.
  • Designs and implements social media strategy to align with business goals.
  • Sets specific objectives and report on ROI.
  • Generates, edits, publishes and shares engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news).
  • Monitors SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Collaborates with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency.
  • Communicates with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.
  • Manage the company’s social presence and elevates profiles on LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook by creating posts and content for each platform, curating the feeds and building audiences.
  • Suggests and implements new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.
  • Stays up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.
  • Develops, maintains, and manages consistent corporate image throughout all marketing and promotional materials and product lines.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management 

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing, Digital Technologies, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrated success and relevant work experience in digital marketing
  • Computer skills required: Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) at an advanced level required.
  • Knowledge and experience using Adobe Creative Suite is a requirement.
  • Knowledge and experience in athletic strength training environment is a plus.
  • Other skills required:
    • Proven work experience as a Social media manager.
    • Hands on experience in content management.
    • Excellent copywriting skills.
    • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video).
    • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics.
    • Knowledge of online marketing channels.
    • Familiarity with web design.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Analytical and multitasking skills.
