Job Summary

Responsibilities:

• This position’s duties will include the development and implementation of Sun Belt Conference Baseball and Softball programs.
• The position will oversee and coordinate the strength and conditioning program for other sports as assigned.
• Applicants must have the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with coaches, athletic trainers, student-athletes, and administrators.
• This position is subject to a pre-employment background and criminal check.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University.
• Minimum of one year experience in strength and conditioning coaching at the intercollegiate level.
• Certification by either of the two NCAA recognized strength and conditioning certification organizations: NSCA-CSCS and/or CSCCa-SCCC. (current & valid)
• CPR Certification
• Developement, implementation and coaching with strength program compliance
• Experience with programming and developing annual training plans for all genders of intercollegiate athletic programs
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree
• USAW Certification
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of NCAA/Sun Belt Conference rules and guidelines
• Educating student-athletes and coaches on nutrition and supplements with the health care administrator
