Job Summary

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• This position will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of the operations.
• The individual in this position will be expected to learn all aspects of what is required to be a great academic staff member.
• The staff is committed to developing all skills needed to be a great professional in this field.
• By the end of the two-year GA experience, each GA will be able to:
• Thoroughly understand NCAA progress toward degree requirements for student-athletes and how they impact APR and GSR.
• Monitor and document student-athlete weekly academic progress.
• Understand end of term grade finalization and reporting process procedures.
• Understand and implement student academic advising. o Understand the importance of timely, effective communication with coaches and professors.

Qualifications:

• Arrange and host an honorary coach autonomously.
• Arrange and host a recruiting session with a prospect.
• Effectively implement the five pillars of Life Skills.
• Understand and be able to implement a tutorial program. 
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Desire to obtain full-time employment in student-athlete academic support
• Strong work ethic
• Communication skills
