Job Summary

Responsibilities:

Maintain media contacts with relevant and local news stations, and Sports Information departments at opposing institutions
Assist in the creation and management of all Athletics media, including photography, graphics, and video
Live-stat all home competitions
Produce live broadcasts of all home competitions
Use social media platforms to enhance reach of content, and engagement with content
Report to the Director of Sports Information, assist in planning of content, and execute assigned tasks
Manage student-interns each semester

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Sports Management, Communications, Marketing)
Experience within an Athletic Communications/Sports Information office
Extensive knowledge of collegiate athletics
Relevant experience with Sidearm Sports, PrestoSports, StatCrew, and NCAA LiveStats
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Diligent and organized working habits
