Diversity & Inclusion postgraduate intern

Job Summary

Duties:

• The position will provide valuable experience in event planning, maintaining and creating campus partnerships, developing trainings and facilitating staff presentations.
• Under the supervision of the Diversity & Inclusion Director in athletics, the position will work closely with athletic administration to ensure policy and programming designed to celebrate diversity, practice inclusion and strive for social justice.
• Additional experiences include working within the Life Skills program and exposure to athletic administration.
• This is a paid temporary full-time internship at the rate of $10 per hour and includes vacation and sick leave. This position is also eligible for health, dental and other insurance.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• Criminal history background check will be conducted.
• The anticipated start date is September 2020.
