Network Operations Center Engineer II

Job Summary

• Bachelor’s degree in Network Administration, Computer Science, System Engineering or a similar field, or equivalent job experience


• Minimum five years’ Information Systems experience


• Minimum five years’ Windows and Linux server administration experience; strong knowledge in scripting in PowerShell and bash; working experience with network administration and protocols; additional industry certifications strongly preferred


• Must have working experience with system repair, engineering tasks, and other troubleshooting activities


• Prefer experience with: VXRail or other virtual machine administration; AWS Code Commit, Git, or Jenkins; PDQ Deploy; Rundeck, Monday or Redwood administration; Datadog or Solar winds administration; Zendesk or other ticketing system; Heidi or other database administration; Network administration and protocols


• Industry certifications preferred


• Strong interpersonal skills to manage client relationships and issues escalated by NOC technicians; must work effectively both in a team environment and alone
