Manager of Irrigation Research and Services

Job Summary

While in this role, you will foster the adoption of previous research in the areas of resource conservation with particular focus on water conservation and effects on golf courses, playing conditions, and golfer experience. Instrumental to the team, you will coordinate projects and contribute to project designs, data collection, and data summarizations.

Requirements:

• Golf course work experience is required; experience with maintenance in a leadership role is preferred
• Must have extensive knowledge of golf course or agriculture irrigation strategies and/or research, as well as experience with irrigation system design, evaluation, and maintenance
• Research experience is preferred
• Must be able to balance multiple projects and prioritize deadlines
• Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Excellent communication skills are required
• Experimental design and data analysis skills are preferred
• Up to 50% travel may be required.
