Assistant Ice Rink Manager

Job Summary

The candidate will be responsible for the execution of successful events. I am directly responsible for hiring, performing training, scheduling, discipline, and supervision of part-time staff of approximately 15 employees. Perform rink maintenance as asasigned.

Qualifications:

High School or vocational diploma required, BA Degree desired, however work previous work history can substitute for degree
3 years of experience with and general functions of an Ice Arena
Knowledge of supervisory principles, with emphasis in working with and training a “casual” staff
Must be able to work flexible and sometimes demanding schedules; including: nights, weekends, and holidays
Possess a working knowledge of Audio/Video and Information Technology Systems, Ice systems, and basic computer skills
