Job Summary
The Routing Clerk assists the Routing Coordinator and Shipping Team in routing all outbound shipments from the DCM warehouse directly to all wholesale customers, along with other daily tasks. The position interacts directly with the Routing Coordinator and Shipping Manager.
Duties & responsibilities:
Route loads to consistently meet DCM On-Time Shipping Service Level Agreement for Standard and Non-standard orders
Secure routing instructions, document control/load numbers, and schedule shipping appointments for Wholesale Accounts
Prepare all necessary Freight documents prior to carrier arrival.
Prepare order documents to pull and build ship loads with wave numbers, pallet counts and staging locations.
Maintain and update accurate Routing Standard Operating Procedures
