Job Summary

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

The Deputy Managing Editor will be responsible for ensuring the successful flow of all content on DK Nation. They will manage our news desk, coordinating schedules with part-timers and working with editors to determine assignments. They will leverage all part-time and full-time writers and editors to produce daily editorial content focused on daily fantasy sports, betting and more.

WHO YOU ARE

• Ability to generate story ideas in consultation with editors
• Strong leadership skills, along with experience managing a team
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to organize and plan for near and long-term initiatives
• Ability to determine what stories should take priority
• Collaborative approach to working within our vast network of writers and editors
• At least 3 years of experience editing 
• At least 1 year of experience managing people
• Strong knowledge of sports
• Strong knowledge of sports betting and fantasy sports industries
• Some writing will be needed
