Assistant Director of Athletics Communications

Job Summary

This position develops and executes media plans to generate support for the promotion of athletic sports programs. The incumbent manages digital platforms, cultivates and manages media relationships, and develops original story ideas and feature articles.

Qualificaitons:

1. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
2. Two (2) years of experience related to the above described duties.
3. Related experience may be substituted for education, on a basis set forth and approved by the Department of Human Resources.
