Freelance Show Editor

Job Summary

We are looking for a freelance show editor to join the team in Los Angeles. This role will provide edited pieces for the one daily show, First Things First. The incumbent must be willing to work overnight (12am–8am).

Qualifications:

1. 3+ years of experience editing for professional television broadcasts.
2. Knowledge and skill with non-linear editing systems.
3. Ability to work the overnight shift (12am-8am).
4. Experience with fast paced cuts/dissolve editing typical of sports/news talk shows.
5. Experience working in high pressure environment typical of daily sports talk shows.
