Position Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Hitting Coach to join our team for the upcoming off-season training program. This is a part-time, seasonal role (late October – end of March) with opportunities for renewal. The ideal candidate will have professional playing experience and a proven ability to communicate and teach hitting mechanics to athletes ages 8-24.

Responsibilities

• Lead individual and small-group hitting sessions following the Baseball Academy curriculum

• Provide swing assessments and actionable feedback for each athlete

• Collaborate with other coaches to track player progress and develop training plans

• Maintain a positive, professional, and competitive training environment

• Communicate with athletes and parents to support athlete development goals

Requirements

• Professional baseball playing experience required (MiLB, MLB, Independent, or equivalent international experience)

• Previous coaching experience preferred (private instruction, high school, college, or academy level)

• Strong understanding of modern hitting principles, swing mechanics, and approach

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Ability to work evenings
