Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership and management for the entire athletic department, overseeing all athletic-related tasks and responsibilities in conjunction with the Head of School and Sport.
• Serve as the representative for Brabeion Academy with the Idaho High School Activities Association (IHSAA).
• Develop and implement a comprehensive competition schedule for all school-sponsored athletic teams.
• Co-manage the physical education department in collaboration with the Chief Academic Officer.
• Conduct outreach to collegiate and professional scouts to increase exposure for student-athletes.
• Provide high-level expertise in athletic training, sports psychology, and coaching development for both student-athletes and coaches.
• Oversee the hiring and development of all coaching staff.
• May teach a specialized elective course within a sports discipline, leveraging personal expertise to enrich the curriculum.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree or higher in sports management, sports administration, sports psychology, or a related athletic discipline is strongly desirable.
• Collegiate or professional playing and/or coaching experience is highly desirable.
• Prior athletic administration experience is highly desirable, but not required.
• A proven track record of building and leading successful athletic programs.
• A demonstrated commitment to a "character-first" coaching philosophy.
• Bilingual in Spanish (strongly preferred).

Position Details

This is a full-time, year-round position with a 12-month contract located on-site in Nampa, Idaho. The target start date for this position in Spring 2026.

Compensation: A competitive salary starting at $70-80,000 (DOE) per year plus full benefits, generous PTO, and enrollment in the Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho (PERSI).
