Responsibilities

Job Duties

Video recording and shot composition on location and in the studio using company provided cameras and recording devices. Including Sony 800 ENG & Sony FS-7 Cameras.
Assists in set preparation for remote productions, including set-up, lighting, placement of cameras, running of cables, location of microphones, color balancing of cameras, etc.
Routine technical tasks, etc.
Assist the Chief Photographer in the maintenance and scheduling of related equipment and facilities. Monitor gear and report broken equipment to assigned authorities.
Assist Producers and Talent with the aesthetic and technical aspects of recording original material both in-studio and on location.
Facilitate open and continuous communication with the Assignment Desk for Daily Planning, Feature Stories and Breaking News Purposes
Ability to use multi-platform/nonlinear technology
Other technical duties and responsibilities as required and assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

u>Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of sports shooting experience (games & features)
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related work experience
Must be able to travel out of town approximately 25% of the year. May require short notice for travel due to breaking news or championship coverage of local teams.

Ability to work independently and in high pressure situations, problem solving while traveling and keeping shooting and editing standards at a consistent and high level
