Job Summary

Quality 

Ensure the quality of coaching and player performance within the program is at the appropriate and expected level. In association with NCE Executive group assist in the recruitment, development and evaluation of coaches within the regions programming, ensure all company policies are followed, ensure evaluation protocol of players within the program is followed and offer input into staff movement and regional appointments when necessary.

Development 

Development of all players will be our number one focus with an approach that is consistent with the  NCE curriculum and is age appropriate. The development will be measured by player improvement over the course of each season and the retention of players as they progress to the next age level. 

Management

Regional Director is responsible for managing a team of staff towards specific goals and responsibilities. Ensuring NCE standards are maintained across all regional venues is the Director’s primary objective. They may also be charged with ensuring targets are met within the NCE 

Programming and implement and manage strategies for growth. These targets include but may not be limited to; new and existing player registrations for the NCE programs, recruiting new players for all 

NCE programs and ensuring players from the respective age groups are identified and selected for summer and international programs. 

Primary Responsibilities

NCE Programming

Oversee NCE sales, planning, organization and delivery across the defined area.

Delivery of coaching sessions for NCE programs across the area.

Lead, manage and monitor the NCE staff team. 

Assist in the design and delivery of all session plans.

Assist in the identification, recruitment, selection and training of area players for all NCE select events

Manage the distribution, collection, upkeep and storage of all NCE Equipment.

Ensure that NCE standards are maintained at all programs by staff and participants as per NCE policy

Ensure all staff deliver and communicate player evaluations with parents as per NCE policy.

Any scholarships, reduced pricing or discounts must be approved by NCE Executive group. 

Camps

Lead, organize and deliver NCE day and residential camp programs across the area.

Assume Camp Director role at all NCE Camps.

Pre-Select players for all day and residential camp programs. 

Assist in the creation of all camp curricula.

Assist NCE Operations Department in all camp administration.Partnership Programs 

Identify potential clubs, organizations and vendors for NCE Partnership Programs.

Work with NCE executive office to establish Partnership Programs in the area. 

Deliver Partnership Programming. 

Administration

Assist in the administration of all NCE programming across the area. 

Organize and deliver tryouts according to company procedures.

Organize and deliver player evaluations according to company policy.

Work with NCE Director of Operations to secure sites and locations for development of NCE programming. 

Assist NCE Director of Operations with administrative tasks associated with program planning, administration and delivery in the area.

Tournaments

Oversee tournament sales, planning, organization and delivery across the defined area. 

Assist selection of players and creation of NCE Select teams. 

Lead, manage and monitor the NCE staff team. International & Tours

Expected to attend at least one international NCE event each calendar year in a NCE staff member capacity.

Continued Professional Development 

The Regional Director is required to attend and participate in all NCE continued professional development courses. 

Player Performance Profiles (PPP)

It is the responsibility of the Regional Director to manage and facilitate all PPP requirements  including but not limited to completion, evaluation and communication of final reports. 

Other 

• As a result of the nature of the business, the employee may be asked to assist with other programs and activities that NCE provides which are not listed above. The employee’s involvement in these programs and activities will be at the discretion of both parties.
