Director of Stadium Events

Job Summary

This position is responsible for developing and executing a strategy to solicit and schedule external events in the new football stadium and other Athletics facilities, generating and serve as first point of contact for all space utilization requests, prepare cost estimates and negotiate rental agreement contracts.

Qualifications:

1. Three years of event management experience; Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) certification preferred.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of, and relevant ability with, culturally diverse communities among potential target and constituent populations.
3. Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, communications, marketing, management, liberal arts, sociology, tourism or any other field related to duties and responsibilities
4. Three years of full-time progressive, results-oriented professional experience in sales/fundraising/marketing or related work experience.
5. Demonstrated skill in developing and achieving revenue goals.
