Coordinator for Sports Programs

Job Summary

The coordinator will ensure continuity in departmental and university business practices, maintain proficiency with relevant software applications, and develop program policies and risk management plans. Responsibilities include hiring, mentoring, and supervising a diverse team of part-time student staff and non-student employees.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in recreation, sport management, physical education, or related fields.

1 year of relevant experience in sports rules design/implementation, programming, officiating experience, and training officials and staff supervision.

Equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.

First Aid and CPR Instructor or ability to earn certification 90 days after hiring.

Maintain CPR/AED, First-Aid, and Blood Borne Pathogens Instructor Certifications.
