Job Summary
The Equipment Assistant position at the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics involves assisting the Director of Equipment Services with managing the football equipment room. Responsibilities include laundering and storing practice and game uniforms, supervising student workers, maintaining equipment inventory, packing for away games, cleaning and repairing equipment, and assisting with facility upkeep.
Basic Qualifications:
Knowledge of NCCA rules and regulations relative to equipment purchasing, allocation, and retention.
Basic sewing skills for garment alteration and repair.
Two years of football student manager experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license and two years of driving experience.
