Director of Athletics

Job Summary

The Director will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance university objectives and goals. The ideal candidate will possess qualities such as collegiality, integrity, self-confidence, and sound judgment. They must make consistent, fair decisions based on available information and work collaboratively within the university community.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (Master's degree strongly preferred).
• 7-8 years of 2 progressive experience leading a successful, multifaceted enterprise in intercollegiate athletics.
• Previous coaching experience at the Division I collegiate level is preferred.
• Minimum of five years overseeing support staff and managing a team, department or equivalent.
• Commitment to integrate athletics with the entire Campus community and to work collaboratively with student life staff, faculty, and University administrators.
