Job Summary
The Center for Counseling and Student Development aims to assist students in managing psychological symptoms, dealing with life events, enhancing interpersonal skills, and promoting self-awareness and problem-solving abilities. It emphasizes equality, cultural diversity, and inclusion, offering ongoing education about issues affecting minority students.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology is required.
- Completion of an internship in a college or university counseling center.
- Knowledge and professional experience of the personal, emotional, and psychological experience of students.
- Familiarity with counseling center clinical records and the software platforms utilized.
- Proficiency in computer skills (e.g., Titanium, Point and Click, Excel, word processing, presentation software) and web navigation abilities.
