Administrative Assistant I - Athletics

Job Summary

The Administrative Assistant I, reporting to the Director of Athletics, provides essential clerical support to the Athletic Department.

Responsibilities encompass various administrative tasks, including record-keeping, report preparation, purchase orders, meeting notes, travel arrangements, and fostering positive relationships within the university community.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Requires an Associate degree in business, secretarial science.
2. One to two years of secretarial or administrative experience
3. Must demonstrate, intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office as well as the ability to type 40 words per minute with accuracy.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills are also required.
5. Must be able to prioritize work to meet multiple deadlines with minimal supervision. Familiarity with Jenzabar or related system is preferred.
