Athletic Trainer

Job Summary

Oversees a sports medicine program, focusing on injury prevention and student wellness evaluation. Act as first responders, assessing and treating injuries, creating rehabilitation plans, and utilizing therapeutic methods and exercise equipment. Collaboration with medical professionals, athletes, coaches, and parents to manage injury status and treatment is also part of the role.

Minimum Qualifications:

Course work must include completion of the Board of Certification (BOC) curriculum requirements.

Equivalent to bachelor's degree in athletic training, physical education or related field of study or combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge and abilities.

Equivalent to 2 years of experience as a certified Athletic Trainer in a high school or college environment.
