Assistant Athletic Trainer

Job Summary

This position involves providing athletic training services, including injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation. Responsibilities also include maintaining medical records, assisting student workers, and representing the college at conferences and NCAA meetings. The role requires collaboration with the healthcare team and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications:

Must be NATABOC certified in good standing; Maintain a PA licensure or eligible.

Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred. One of the degrees must be from a CAATE accredited athletic training program.

1-3 years of athletic training experience, preferably in a college/university environment.

ARC Professional Rescuer or AHA BLS CPR certification required, ARC or AHA instructor preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, SWAY Concussion Management Software, and Injury Tracking Software (ATS, SportsWare, etc).
