POSITION SUMMARY

The role of the Digital Marketing Manager is to promote Elizabethtown Sports Park as a premier sports, activities, and special events location. In addition, they will assist in developing and maintaining the Elizabethtown brand. The execution of responsibilities will be accomplished by working closely with ESP leadership, community stakeholders, event providers/vendors, and promoting the primary revenue streams through effective marketing and advertising efforts. The Digital Marketing Manager will develop and implement a marketing campaign plan, including digital, print, grassroots, storytelling, and more. They will be evaluated based on KPIs around strategies and execution of marketing campaign.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Crafting and executing the annual marketing plan
  • Identifying and developing strategic initiatives
  • Capturing content to highlight the story of the Elizabethtown Sports Park and Ripken Experience Elizabethtown
  • Managing social media business accounts including regular posting, management of content calendar, and customer engagement
  • Managing and updating company website(s)
  • Overseeing email database(s) distribution
  • Preparing and presenting regular reporting on marketing strategy and results
  • Participating and assisting the planning and implementation of events, tournaments, and rentals
  • All other duties assigned by management

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:

  • 2-3 years of experience working with social media, content creation, website management and/or email marketing
  • Ability to capture digital content and a creative eye for detail
  • Proven success in storytelling and brand development
  • Action-oriented personality and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Established ability to deliver on KPIs
  • Experience in youth and amateur sports is a plus

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position
  • Ability to develop and manage content creation
  • Skilled in managing business accounts on a variety of social media platforms
  • Experience in email database management
  • Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Understanding of website management
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Must be a team player and deadline-driven
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours)

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

 

  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds waist high
  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop, or bend
  • Will be required to operate a computer
  • Facility has intermittent noise
