The Clubspark platform supports clubs, providers and coaches across several sports including tennis, cricket, soccer and athletics. This number is growing daily and our clients include some of the most famous brands and organizations in sport.

About the role

We are looking for a Business Analyst who is passionate about sport and technology to join our fast-growing company.  You will be working in a dynamic environment alongside a world-class team of entrepreneurs, technologists and clients, focused on turning Clubspark, our award-winning sport participation platform, into a global leader. 

This role will work closely with Product Managers, Design and Development Teams, to help shape our software products.

In your First Year you will:

• Define requirements and support the team in delivering our first phase of leagues

• Define a large portion of requirements for phase 2 of leagues

• Define requirements for Team Captain product

• Build close working relationships with stakeholders at USTA

‪Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the product owner to understand and define business requirements and set product KPIs

• Ensure business requirements are aligned with product goals

• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform product design

• Analyze data to identify trends and insights that can inform product development

• Assist with the development of user stories and acceptance criteria

• Contribute to the design and development of new features and enhancements

• Provide support to internal stakeholders and customers as required

• Write functional documentation

‪Essential Skills

• Passion for sport and technology

• A knowledge of racket sports, specifically Tennis and its rules and formats

• 2 years experience in digital or software Product Management, Business Analysis and/or degree in an equivalent area

• Experience in Agile software development

• Experience in user research and user testing

• Excellent communication skills both written and oral

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to think creatively

• The ability to work both independently and within a team

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

• Experience in writing requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria

• Strong but personable, you will be working with a small, highly collaborative team

Great if you also have

• Recognized project management qualification or equal experience (e.g. PRINCE2, APMP, Agile certification, SCRUM)

• Experience in a digital agency, or similar fast-paced environment

• Experience of working on a SaaS platform, ideally in the sports sector

• Experience in using Confluence and Jira

• Ability to occasionally attend tournaments
