A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LIFEGUARD

As a seasonal Lifeguard, you are responsible for ensuring that our guests stay safe while using our pool. You monitor all activity that is happening around you and respond to emergencies with a sense of urgency. Because of your training, you correctly administer first aid or CPR as needed as well as assist our guests in any way necessary to ensure their safety. Anytime an issue or guest complaint arises, you report them to management to make sure they are taken care of in a timely and efficient manner. Your diligence and commitment to the job keep our pool a safe place for all guests. The job can sometimes be challenging, but it brings you great fulfillment in knowing that you serve in such an important role!

SCHEDULE

This position is available for both full or part-time individuals. Candidates must be willing to have flexible schedules including: 4-5 hour shift availability and holiday & weekend availability.

 

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LIFEGUARD

• Lifeguard and CPR certifications
• Experience working as a lifeguard
• Customer Service
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Are you highly organized and attentive to detail? Can you remain calm in stressful situations? Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills? Are you able to put your best foot forward and present yourself in a clean and professional manner? Can you effectively prioritize tasks while demonstrating good time management?
