General Information
- Compensation may consist of a tuition waiver, an annual stipend and meal plan for a full-time Graduate Assistant (GA)
- Typically, a full-time GA is required to work 20 hours per week from mid-August to mid-May
- Accepted into a Master's Degree Program
Under the general direction of the Director of Athletics and the director of the fitness center, the Graduate Assistant for Softball is responsible for training and recruiting student-athletes. Additionally, 20 hours each week will be dedicated one or more areas in athletics: fundraising, game management, alumni relations, fitness center supervision, intramurals, event planning, sports information, and social media. Instruction should include, but not limited to the rules, strategies, and techniques relating to practice and competition in this sport. The Graduate Assistant will also support the mission and goals of the Athletic Department.
