Job Summary


  • Provide clerical and administrative support to human resources and payroll
  • Organize and maintain personal files including I-9s, benefits, and worker’s compensation files
  • Maintain administrative forms and manuals 
  • Respond to unemployment claims and employment verification requests
  • Process employee enrollments, terminations, and COBRA
  • Audit and process vendor reports and invoices
  • Administer paid time off policies
  • Assist with benefit open enrollment
  • Post job openings on recruiting websites and with local universities 
  • Track and manage applicants through hiring process
  • Conduct phone interviews
  • Assist with the recruiting of part-time event-based employees and interns
  • Draft internal communications for emails and Company portal
  • Process employee transactions in the HR database (Paycor) including but not limited to contact information changes, safety incident tracking, and leave of absence tracking.
  • Create and run requested reports 

Other duties as assigned

  • Actively pursuing or already obtained a Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field
  • 1 - 2 years of Human Resource experience preferred
  • Advanced PC skills with experience using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet experience required
  • Applicant tracking software and human resource database software experience preferred 
  • Outstanding organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with a proven ability to take initiative on time sensitive projects
  • Team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to use good judgment in confidential situations
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Occasional ability to be available to work nights and weekends
