Job Summary

  • Generate new sales revenue in full and partial season membership and group sales by researching individuals, companies, and industries.
  • Make cold calls, attend charity and networking events, generate leads through referrals and engaging with community 
  • Build and develop new business by regularly pitching new prospects through in-arena tours, external appointments, phone prospecting and events
  • Provide excellent customer service by creating unique touch points, promptly responding to requests or communications, and establishing dynamic relationships with all customers
  • Service and renew existing accounts, cross selling and upselling when possible.
  • Participate in educational opportunities on team product offerings, pricing and sales strategies, as well as market trends and industry best practices.
  • Work events and games as assigned to support ticket sales efforts and promotional initiatives
  • Regularly produce accurate updates on prospecting activity, sales performance, outside appointment and event recaps 
  • Document all communications in Client Relationship Management (CRM) system 


 What are your proficiencies or equivalent experiences?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year of sales experience with collegiate or professional sports is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills required.
  • Positive attitude and desire to succeed required.
  • Proficient computer skills: working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of CRM and Paciolan is strongly preferred.
  • Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
