Social Media Manager

Job Summary

• Produce short video content, create memes, graphics and digital assets across all digital channels to drive engagement
• Oversee weekly/annual/monthly upload calendar(s) and execute content against key dates and moments
• Contribute to the creative development of new social-first formats and concepts
• Manage and stimulate communities with content
• Clip video and communicate with the audience during production days
• Be current with best practices across new digital platforms
• Pull and review website/email analytics from multiple resources, and produce regular reports for department in an effort to present insights into the usage, performance and success of social initiatives
• Other applicable tasks, as needed

•  Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of running social accounts and strategy for a large media company

• Expert in the behavior and mechanics of the required platform
• Experience with photo editing and video editing software
• Highly creative out-of-the-box thinker 
• Strong writing and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced, start-up environment with a high volume workload
• Passion for comedy, gaming and geek culture content
