Job Summary

This position will be in charge in providing critical oversight to review student activities and ensure eligibility requirements and progress towards degree.

Duties

• Working closely with office leaders, school and college partners to maintain and modify related practices to better adhere with compliance.
• Coordinating with multiple staff and departments to certify student athletes for academic eligibility
• Interpreting and carrying out NCAA rules and rule changes, reduce risk and identify opportunities in order to improve controls and adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
• Determining and analyzing NCAA and ACC eligibility
• Other related tasks; potentially including support of service and/or technical operations.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree; BA Degree preferred in sports management, liberal arts, business or related field
• 2 years work experience with NCAA student-athlete compliance and eligibility issues
• 2 years experience using an online student information system (PeopleSoft and OnBase)
• Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills
