Athletic Director

Job Summary

The Director of Athletics will strengthen and build the athletic program, developing relationships with the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC), National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) Division II, and external constituents. The Director of Athletics reports to the President and serves as a member of the President's cabinet.


Minimum Qualifications 

• Minimum of three years leading and/or supervising the work of others.  
• Deep experience of intercollegiate programs with an understanding of administrative, financial and personnel-related responsibilities of an athletic department.  
• Demonstrated ability to supervise, mentor, and develop coaches and grow student-athletes.  
• Demonstrated ability to create, foster and maintain a culture of service, sportsmanship and professionalism on all levels.  
• Proven ability to foster a culture of diversity and inclusion, gender equity, and equal opportunity  
• Ability to be a strong listener and communicator; a presence that earns trust, confidence, and respect; and the ability to lead by influence and by example.  
• Proven ability to create a healthy competitive culture to WIN.
