Job Summary
The Director of Athletics is responsible for student-athlete development and academic achievement, assisting with community outreach, speaking and other appearance engagements as directed. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning
2 years experience working with a college or professional basketball program
Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, and development of student-athletes
Working knowledge of Division I basketball with 1 year experience in the student-athlete development field desired
Knowledge of NCAA, SEC, and University policies and procedures
Ability to demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills
