Assistant Director of Campus Recreation

Job Summary

The selected candidate for the position will be responsible for the development, coordination, implementation, and daily operations of all aspects of the fitness and wellness programs. Oversee all marketing efforts for the department, including the website, fall and spring program guides, social media, and strategies to better position the department.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise campus recreation student staff in programming recreational activities in the Student Recreation Center (SRC) and other areas
• Oversee the recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluation of campus recreation student staff for fitness, nutrition, and special events.
• Provide leadership and management of the group fitness program
• Directing the implementation of certification workshops and conferences
• Develop the departmental promotional materials
