Sports Information Director

Job Summary

The candidate Supervise the Sports Information support staff during home athletics games. For home games, make the necessary arrangements for the media, scouts, officials, statisticians, and other press box personnel. Manage all aspects of the department's electronic media projects, including live internet broadcasts and social media posts.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in communications or related field preferred.
• Minimum three years' experience in sports information or related field.
• Experience in print lay out, desktop publishing, web page design and sport broadcasting is highly desired.
• Demonstrated excellence in sports journalism and working knowledge of sport statistics software are also required.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, ability to multitask, meet deadlines and ability to resolve issues under intense time constraints.
