Job Summary
The Manager, External Events, is responsible for overseeing supplemental event staff in the execution of PNC Park external events. This position is also in charge of planning and executing non-game day and some game day events. These include large client events (galas and banquets), corporate meetings, weddings, personal celebrations, concerts, field events, and ballpark events.
Responsibilities:
Respond to external (inbound) requests and inquiries regarding booking on-site events.
Provide information, details, pricing, and event quotes to external clients and groups.
Act as liaison with external clients in order to properly plan and execute meetings, celebrations, and hospitality functions.
Meet and exceed yearly department goals established by Director, Events & Hospitality.
Assist with maintaining the departmental and ballpark venue/event calendar.
