Job Summary
The Director, Corporate and Community Communications, is responsible for directing and implementing the franchise's external affairs and public relations strategy. Responsibilities include driving business ticketing, concessions, and marketing initiatives, as well as attending concerts and events. Secure strategic news coverage (TV, print, online, radio, social media) about the organization's business ventures.
Qualifications:
College degree or equivalent experience required (5-8 or more years)
Experience with managing relationships and influence with the general public, the media, the community, and government offices or agencies
Experience with the nuances of baseball, navigating the demands of the schedule and an understanding of MLB systems (credentials, stats, etc.) is preferred.
Successful history of earned media and strong media relationships.
Service-minded approach with a passion for relationships.
