Job Summary

 

 

This position oversees a staff of student writers who provide written content about our athletic programs and manages and schedules our staff of freelance photographers. serves as the main writer responsible for either creating or overseeing all the written content distributed by university athletics.

 

Qualifications:

  1. Masters Degree.
  2. Previous experience as a sports writer or editor in college athletics.
  3. Experience working in an NCAA Division I Athletic Communications Department.
  4. Bachelors degree, preferably in broadcasting, journalism, public relations, graphic design or other related field.
  5. 1 year of experience as a writer and/or editor (newspaper/magazine/University/other relevant media outlet).
