Job Summary

 

 

The position of sports medicine specialist protects the USF student-athletes' health and wellness while reducing risk to the university, athletic department, and USF Health. The position's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coverage of practices, games, and travel, as well as communication with coaches, parents, and other healthcare providers. 

Qualifications:

State of Florida Athletic Training license.

Master's degree and 1-3 years of experience in intercollegiate athletics.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.

Certification by the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification (NATABOC); and Eligible for Florida State AT licensure.
