Title:                             Manager, Programs & Events

Department:              Business Enterprises

Status:                         Full Time

Reports to:                 Executive Director, Business Enterprises

Job Functions:

  • Develop, coordinate, and implement all elements of Dodgers Business Enterprises programs and events, including, but not limited to, the Dodgers @ Home subscription program, Dodgers Adult and Youth Camps, Strength and Conditioning Symposium, Jr. Dodgers kids club, FanFest VIP experiences, stadium golf events, public-facing holiday events, and other special events
  • Handle all operational components of applicable programs and events, including procurement, staffing, collateral, run of show, timelines, and customer service
  • Serve as manager on duty on-site at all programs and events
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions customers may have about programs in person or by phone, email, app, and/or text message
  • Maintain and develop game day experiences, activities, events, and products to promote and integrate with programs
  • Coordinate sweepstakes through updating rules and facilitating drawings, fulfillment of prizes, and communication with winners
  • Partner with various departments including Ticket Sales, Sponsorship, Marketing, Purchasing, Merchandise, Legal, Finance, Stadium Operations, and Baseball Operations, and affiliate organizations including the Dodgers Training Academy and Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation
  • Service and troubleshoot any technological issues related to program platforms
  • Contribute to the longer-term strategy of all Dodgers Business Enterprises programs
  • Perform related duties as assigned

Basic Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience managing events
  • Proven ability to optimally craft and implement cross-functional projects
  • Strong skills executing processes and timelines
  • Must be meticulous with substantial organizational skills
  • Ability to interact positively with customers
  • Possess excellent reasoning, problem-solving, creative thinking, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform duties independently with minimal direction for specific assignments
  • Interest and experience managing and developing youth programs and events a plus 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Willing and able to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends when necessary
  • Basic understanding of organizational structure, goals, and mission
