Job Summary
Job Title: Manager of Fan Engagement
Position Type: Full Time
Location: Rochester, NY
Primary Responsibilities:
· Prospect for new Suite Holders, season, half season and game by game
o Most of the executive suites will be sold on a “value driven” game by game basis
· Manage 2023 Flower City Union Season Membership program, liaison with Vice President to ensure ticket operations elements are executed
· Manage clubs Group Sales strategy and efforts, programming theme nights and other community initiatives.
· Maintain a high level of sales activity, including but not limited to, a high volume of prospecting calls, sales meetings, networking events and community event attendance
o Specific minimum sales activity requirements outlined in a separate document
o Virtual meetings and zoom meetings to be utilized during lingering pandemic
· Invite prospects to Flower City Union games utilizing prospecting suite and other VIP inventory
· Attend networking and stadium events (game day and non- game day and virtual)
· Represent the club and organization with a high level of professionalism and integrity
· Foster a positive work environment within the Flower City Union organization with positive communication between front office staff
· Create weekly /monthly sponsor sales pipeline tracking report, provide updates during staff meetings
· Represent the club on NISA hosted league ticket sales calls
Secondary Responsibilities
· Assist organization with upgrading or creating new ticketing presentation materials and general collateral
· Support season ticket holder benefit fulfillment as requested or needed
· Suite sales and premium ticket sales service support. Act as conduit to Rochester Sports Complex for all Suite related issues
Requirements:
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities, and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in sport management or a related field.
- 1-3 years of sports sales (ticket sales and/or sponsorship) general sales or related experience in a sport or selling environment
- 1-3 years of experience managing employees, management of a sales team or employees preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including working knowledge of a CRM (HubSpot/Sales Force)
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and demonstrated ability to make quick decisions using sound judgment
- Ability to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends
- Individual must be detail-oriented and a self-starter
- Knowledge of soccer is a plus, passion for soccer preferred, bilingual is a plus
Timeline:
