Job Summary

 

The Event coordinator will plan and execute assigned events, to include food and beverage, transportation, audio-visual, décor, and organization prior to the event, as well as on-site operations. review, negotiate, and finalize contracts with hotels and various vendors. Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records for personally assigned meetings and events.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Prefer Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from an accredited college or university.

Two years office administration required, preferably in the hospitality industry. Golf knowledge is a plus.

Must have a thorough knowledge of administrative principles and procedures with the ability to work on various projects and programs as assigned.

A knowledge of organization functions of a business operation.

Must have ability to understand legal and contractual terminology as it pertains to event contracting.
