Creative Specialist

Job Summary

The Creative Specialist will be responsible for executing aspirational and compelling graphics that will elevate the Northwestern Athletics brand story. We are looking for a self-starter who is confident in his or her abilities and able to work effectively with little supervision. This individual should also be able to balance strategic problem-solving with creative thinking.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with major coursework in Digital Art & Animation, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Multimedia Design, or a closely related field.
• 1 to 3 years’ demonstrated experience in graphic design.
• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite on MAC; specifically, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign – experience with After Effects and Adobe Premiere is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge in digital best practices, layout design and typography.
• Desire to think “outside the box” generating new and innovative content and tell the story of Northwestern Athletics in a dynamic way.
