Right now, we're looking to add a passionate public media & sports enthusiast to join our sponsorship sales team at Georgia Public Broadcasting in Atlanta:

This is an outside sales position, aligning brands with the value of public media (PBS) and Georgia Statewide High School Sports Sponsorship, enhancing their business profile in the communities where their target consumers and patrons live, work & play.

The role will provide you the flexibility required to network with sponsors during the week and at weekends at games. You can do your paperwork from your deck at home, coming into the station only when it makes sense for in-person meetings.

Flexible work location

Your understanding and familiarity with the Atlanta business community will be an essential part of the role. You will be working fully remote initially, and always partially remote even when it's safe to go back to an office. We want you to do your best work, with flexibility, in office on occasion and then networking with sponsors, attending games and wherever you're most comfortable, on the deck or in your home office!

You are our ideal candidate if you have...

  • 3+ years of media sales experience
  • A passion for high school sports and an understanding of how they positively impact the local community
  • Excellent communication and persuasive presentation skills
  • Ability to build new business based on lasting relationships
  • Ability to network and develop sales strategies with high level decision makers in the community
  • Goal oriented
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to manage time and prioritize effectively
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends in order to attend games
