Catering Sales Manager

Job Summary

The Catering Sales Manager has the primary duty of generating, managing, and coordinating outside catering sales. The Sales Manager will handle sales and customer service issues, including providing outstanding customer service. The manager will facilitate the flow of information internally as well as communicate with all guests and vendors.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required, as well as 6 months of related hospitality industry experience and/or training.
2. 3 or more years in a sales role, with verifiable sales success.
3. Proficiency and successful experience in catering sales generation, contract negotiation, pricing, event scheduling, training, catering, banquets, and menu development.
4. Ability to work independently both on and off venue property with little supervision or oversight.
5. Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office programs), working knowledge of POS systems.
