Job Summary
The Manager, Special Event/Catering Sales, will be responsible for developing and managing the overall sales and operation of special events at the venue. Research, analyze, and develop special event profit-generating opportunities. Make sales calls and presentations, attend local trade shows, and engage in other client prospecting to increase the size of the organization's potential client database.
Qualifications:
Research, analyze, and develop special event profit generating opportunities.
Monitor changes and new developments in the special events industry.
Work closely and build relationships with the Legends food and beverage, and merchandise departments.
Create leads and develop long-term relationships in the event planning, production, and promotion communities, and with other relevant companies, organizations, and groups.
Prepare and provide required reports to the Director of Sales and Special Events including special event revenue reports, profit and loss statements, sales recaps, and projections.
