Assistant for Spirit Coordination

Job Summary

The Spirit Coordination is responsible for the implementation of a competitive club sport cheerleading and dance team, with an emphasis on building a student fan base. This role will be responsible for coaching, recruiting, fundraising, training, supervising, and retention of student-athletes.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the supervision of all team practices, contests, and off-season programs.
• Prepares game practices, travel plans, and training sessions.
• Ensure all student-athletes succeed academically, athletically, and leaderly.
• Adhere to rules set forth by the Institution.
• Develop and implement fundraising activities and strategies to enhance and grow revenue for the program and the athletic department.
• Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned.
