Job Summary

The building electrician performs general facility maintenance and repair tasks of average to considerable difficulty. Tasks include ensuring proper working condition of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems; carpentry; and general trades' tasks. In the absence of the operations manager, the director of operations takes over the electrician's duties.

Qualifications:

Four or more (4+) years of electrician experience or a combination of education/specialized training and experience.

Possession of a journeyman electrician’s license required.

High School diploma or equivalent GED.

Basic knowledge of PC based computer applications.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, contractors, and facility users.
