Retail Buyer

Job Summary

The retail buyer is responsible for optimizing retail sales and profitability. They will be tasked with developing strategies to reach new fans via unique new products and brand partnerships. They will support the retail operations team, manage inventory levels, and recommend distribution and transfers to maximize sales.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, or comparable professional experience.

5+ years of experience in merchandising, retail buying, merchandising support/analytics (e.g., operations, pricing), product development, or similar field.

Ability to manage priorities and coordinate tasks to solve day-to-day challenges in a dynamic environment.

Ability to exhibit a creative and analytical approach to fulfilling business objectives.

Experience in sports or sportswear apparel segments preferred, but not required.
